Finn-Ole Heinrich – Gestur 2018 / Guest 2018

Það gleður Mýrina að tilkynna að Finn-Ole Heinrich (1982) er gestur hátíðarinnar í haust.
Árið 2011 kom fyrsta barnabók hans, Frerk du Zwerg! út. (ísl. “Frerk, dvergurinn þinn!”)
Í sögunni segir af drengnum Frerk. Hann flýr inn í draumaheim en dag einn finnur hann óvenjulegt egg sem mun breyta lífi hans og snúa tilverunni á hvolf. Bókin er fallega myndskreytt af Rán Flygenring. Í þríleiknum Die erstaunlichen Abenteuer der Maulina Schmitt (e. “The Amazing Adventure of Maulina Schmitt”) segir af stúlkunni Maulina sem er 10 ára. Í sögunum gengur á ýmsu og lýsir höfundur tilveru aðalsöguhetjunnar, sem upplifir missi og hvaða afleiðingar það hefur á líf hennar. Mýrin is happy to present Finn-Ole Heinrich (1982) as one of our participants this autumn. Heinrich debuted with a short story collection at the age of 23. Frerk, du Zwerg! (“Frerk, You Dwarf!”, 2011) is Heinrich’s first book for children and tells the story of Frerk who finds an unusual egg, which turns his life upside down. The book is illustrated by the Icelandic-Norwegian illustrator Rán Flygenring. With Die erstaunlichen Abenteuer der Maulina Schmitt (“The Amazing Adventure of Maulina Schmitt”2013-2014), Heinrich has released a trilogy of children’s novels, which is also illustrated by Rán Flygenring. The books tell a story about loss and the changes this brings about in the life of the ten-year-old Maulina. The author has once again written a book with captivating central characters who take hold of the reader’s heart in a writing style that is just as literary as it is crazy.
