Based in Helsinki, Seita Vuorela is a writer, photographer and creative writing teacher. She has received numerous awards for her writing, including the Pepite Prize at the 2011 Montreuil Children’s Literary Festival and the 2013 Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize for her novel Karikko (2012).
